Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC)
The Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC)
provides an institutional mechanism through which students can
raise genuine grievances relating to academic, administrative,
infrastructural, examination, hostel, or other student-related matters.
The committee aims to ensure that student concerns are addressed
in a fair, transparent, impartial, and timely manner. Students can
approach the designated grievance redressal mechanism in accordance
with the prescribed institutional procedure.
The SGRC helps promote transparency, accountability, and a
student-friendly institutional environment. Students are encouraged
to use the grievance mechanism whenever they encounter issues that
require formal institutional intervention.
The committee functions in accordance with applicable regulatory
provisions and institutional policies.
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is an
important component of the institution’s commitment to providing
a safe, dignified, respectful, and inclusive environment.
The committee works towards prevention and redressal of complaints
relating to sexual harassment in accordance with applicable laws,
regulations, and institutional policies. It also promotes awareness
regarding appropriate workplace and campus conduct, gender sensitivity,
dignity, mutual respect, and prevention of harassment.
Students and other members of the institutional community can
approach the committee through the prescribed mechanism whenever
they require assistance or wish to report a matter falling within
the committee’s jurisdiction.
The institution maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards sexual
harassment and strives to ensure that complaints are handled with
appropriate confidentiality, sensitivity, fairness, and due process.
Equal Opportunity Cell
The Equal Opportunity Cell works towards promoting
equality, inclusiveness, accessibility, and non-discrimination
within the institution.
The cell aims to ensure that students from diverse social, economic,
cultural, and educational backgrounds receive equitable opportunities
to participate in academic and institutional activities.
It also promotes awareness about available support systems, welfare
schemes, scholarships, accessibility provisions, and other opportunities
that may benefit eligible students.
Through its initiatives, the Equal Opportunity Cell contributes
towards creating an inclusive academic environment in which students
are encouraged to participate confidently and pursue their educational
and professional goals without discrimination.
Socio-Economic Support
The College of Health and Wellness Sciences recognizes that students
may come from different socio-economic backgrounds and may have
varying financial circumstances.
The institution strives to promote equitable access to education
by facilitating information and access to applicable scholarships,
financial assistance schemes, welfare provisions, and other support
mechanisms available to eligible students.
Students requiring assistance are encouraged to approach the
appropriate institutional office or designated committee for
information regarding available schemes and eligibility requirements.
The institution’s approach towards socio-economic support is aimed
at reducing financial barriers and enabling students to continue
their education and participate meaningfully in campus life.
Scholarship Facilities
Scholarships and financial assistance play an important role in
supporting students in pursuing higher education. The college
facilitates awareness and access to scholarships and financial
assistance schemes offered by government departments, regulatory
bodies, institutional schemes, and other recognized organizations,
wherever applicable.
Students are informed about relevant scholarship opportunities,
eligibility criteria, application procedures, documentation
requirements, and applicable deadlines through appropriate
institutional channels.
Scholarship opportunities may be based on academic merit,
financial need, category, socio-economic circumstances, or other
eligibility conditions prescribed by the respective scholarship
provider.
The institution encourages eligible students to explore and apply
for appropriate scholarship schemes to support their educational journey.
Scholarship benefits are subject to the rules, eligibility
criteria, income limits, academic requirements, and other
conditions prescribed by the
Government of Uttar Pradesh and the concerned
scholarship authority.
Lift Facility and Accessibility
The College of Health and Wellness Sciences is committed to
providing an accessible and student-friendly campus environment.
Lift facilities are available to facilitate convenient movement
between different floors of the building and to improve accessibility
for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and individuals who may
have difficulty using stairs.
Accessibility provisions are particularly important for persons
with disabilities, students recovering from injury, individuals
with mobility limitations, and others requiring assistance.
The institution continues to promote an inclusive infrastructure
in which students can access classrooms, laboratories,
administrative areas, and other essential facilities with greater
convenience and dignity.
Student Participation and Engagement
Student welfare is an integral component of the institutional
environment at
ITS College of Health and Wellness Sciences (ITS CHWS).
The college recognizes that students require support not only in
academics but also in areas related to their personal development,
well-being, financial circumstances, accessibility, and overall
campus experience.
Various institutional committees and support mechanisms contribute
towards student welfare, including grievance redressal, equal
opportunity initiatives, scholarships, accessibility facilities,
mentoring, and other student-support activities. The college also
places emphasis on a structured Mentor–Mentee System,
through which faculty mentors regularly interact with assigned
students to understand their academic progress, individual needs,
challenges, and overall development.
Mentor–Mentee sessions provide students with an
approachable platform to discuss academic difficulties, attendance,
performance, career planning, professional development, personal
concerns, and other issues that may affect their educational journey.
Mentors provide appropriate guidance, monitor students’ progress,
encourage participation in academic and co-curricular activities,
and, wherever required, facilitate students’ access to relevant
institutional support services.
The college encourages students to communicate their concerns and
seek appropriate institutional assistance whenever required. The
objective is to create a supportive, inclusive, and student-centred
environment where students can focus on their education while
developing the skills, confidence, professional values, and
competencies required for their future careers.
Safe and Inclusive Campus
CHWS is committed to maintaining a campus environment based on
safety, dignity, equality, mutual respect, and inclusion.
The institution promotes responsible behaviour and encourages
students to respect the rights, dignity, and diversity of fellow
students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Appropriate institutional
committees and mechanisms are available to address student concerns
and promote a positive campus environment.
Through its student support systems, welfare initiatives,
accessibility provisions, and grievance redressal mechanisms,
the college strives to ensure that every student has an opportunity
to learn and participate in campus life in a safe and supportive
environment.
