Course Overview
The BPT course at ITS College of Health & Wellness Sciences is a 4.5-year undergraduate bachelor of physiotherapy course program that aims at developing a student’s understanding of a patient’s condition, related to their motor controls, treatment, and outcomes. The curriculum will cover the study of human anatomy, Physiology, Electrotherapy, Pharmacology, Exercise therapy, General medicines, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Pediatrics. The college strives to offer a well-rounded knowledgeable physiotherapy course and thus establish itself as one of the authentic BPT colleges in Delhi NCR.
The institute offers well-resourced labs such as an Exercise therapy lab and an Electro-therapy lab to inculcate an interactive pedagogy that combines theoretical and clinical learning. The outcome of the course is to educate students at an advanced level in the fundamentals of physiotherapy with the applications of therapeutic exercises and electro-physical modalities that may treat a variety of illnesses and impairments affecting the back, spine, neck, shoulder, and legs. After the completion of 4 years, Physiotherapy students are enrolled for a 6-month internship in a well-recognized company to prepare them for real-life scenarios.
